In May Electrocell was invited to present our technology and business plan to a prestigious group of investors from around the world at NYC Cleantech, an event sponsored by Hodson & Ross, a Clean technology investment advisory firm. We stressed that clean water is an imperative now and in the future, and showed how ElectroCell is already playing a key role in treating liquid waste streams in the enormous agriculture, wastewater treatment, and industrial sectors. The US produces trillions of gallons of liquid waste every year. Our patented Bio-Electric technology is an entirely new approach to treating liquid organic waste, using precisely managed electrical pulses to rupture organic cells and break down liquid waste faster and more efficiently than traditional methods.
The ElectroCell system acts as a biological accelerator, enhancing traditional treatment processes and making them much more efficient significantly reducing nutrients, odor and biological oxygen demand (BOD). The mobile treatment units can easily be added to existing waste treatment infrastructures to improve performance, capacity, and efficiency. ElectroCell allows the industry to reduce or avoid massive fixed infrastructure investments, and can even be used in distributed waste streams where logistical constraints have prevented cost-effective treatment until now. The response from the clean technology investment community was enthusiastic. ElectroCell will be raising its next round of equity in July to finance continued development in new markets that will benefit this game-changing technology
